Upon placing your deposit for a custom order on our website, we start with a design. We can custom piece based on almost any design, but we prefer that it be provided by you. However, if you don’t have a specific design in mind, you can leave it to the design team at custom365d to handle for free.

When you have settled on an idea for your custom piece, we will handcraft a wax mold based on your design. After the wax creation process, we’ll proceed to the gold／925 sterling silver casting process. Once finished, we’ll apply our signature hand detailing, smoothing, and diamond／moissanite setting processes until your piece meets our standards of quality.

We can provide a GRA certificate, but we will only match it if the customer requests it. Please inform us before shipping whether you need it.

How can I start the process?

If you have your own design, you can DM our Instagram @custom365d or contact our iMessage/WhatsApp: +16173097363 to confirm the total price.

Then we will show you the payment plan:

  1. First deposit: $100 to start. You will get the first design image for checking in 3 days.
  2. Second payment: 20% after you confirm the first design picture. We will do the 3D mock-up for your checking in 4 days (needed for the mold).
  3. Third payment: 30% after you confirm. Timeline:
    • 4 days for the pendant mold finished;
    • then 20 days for production finished.
  4. Final payment & shipping: You will get videos and test videos for checking. After confirming, you can do the last payment then we will ship it out for you.

During the process you will get updated videos every week.

How do I send the money?

We only accept payment via:

  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Western Union

We can send you an invoice; you can click to pay.

What is the usual turnaround time for a custom order?

The usual turnaround time for a custom order depends on what we’re making for you and our current queue list of orders at the given time. Our usual turnaround time is 2–4 weeks, but it can take much longer during the holiday seasons. Once we start the production for you, we will confirm the time with you.

Gold plating quality and durability

There are various levels of quality when it comes to gold plating. Most of what you see on the market is not truly gold plated. It is in fact plated with imitation gold, which is often very dark and copper looking.

Our customs are made with thick genuine gold plating. A real layer of 14k or 18k gold is layered on top of sterling silver. What you see and feel is real actual gold, so it looks exactly like an expensive real gold chain.

Because we do custom business, it is very important to guarantee the quality and lasting time. Normally we will do thicker plating to maintain a long time. Our plating includes extra Rhodium, and also an extra vacuum protective film. Sterling silver material will last 1.5–2.5 years at least for normal use.

How to clean custom chains?

Ultrasonic cleaners is the best way to clean; you can go to shop to clean it with that machine.

If just at home you can clean the jewelry under warm running water. Make sure you rinse well and wipe with a soft cloth to dry.
